Baking soda is a very popular natural method for clearing acne.
It can also be used to help fade stubborn acne scars as well, and if you
find that you're having difficulty with your scars, I would encourage
you to give baking soda a go. It's very cheap, very easy to use and very
effective.
What baking soda is really good for is exfoliation. It helps to shed the skin and encourage new skin growth. As I say all the time, exfoliation is part of a successful acne scar routine and many people find great success with baking soda on its own.

What baking soda is really good for is exfoliation. It helps to shed the skin and encourage new skin growth. As I say all the time, exfoliation is part of a successful acne scar routine and many people find great success with baking soda on its own.
Directions:
- Take a teaspoon or two of baking soda and place it on a small plate.
- Add a drop of water. You don't need much at all here.
- Mix it up well. What you want to do here is make a paste of the stuff. If you add too much water it will turn into a liquid and won't exfoliate the skin quite as well as the paste does. Of course if you add too much soda it won't turn into anything... but that's probably not going to be a problem.
- Use a finger and massage it into your scars. It feels a little rough, but won't be too bad.
- Leave the mixture on the skin for several minutes. The mixture will harden as the water evaporates.
- Wash it off well.
- You will probably need to repeat this treatment several times before you start seeing consistent results. Acne scars require a very consistent effort to clear, but with time, patience and regular application of natural treatments, you will find results.
Second Method:
- Add a teaspoon or two of baking soda to a dish.
- Add water. Use more then last time, as we want to make a liquid, not a paste. You still won't need much water, just add enough so it becomes a liquid.
- Use a cotton ball to apply it all over your affected areas.
- Go to sleep.
- Wake up and wash it off.
I mentioned that you need a complete program for healing acne
scars. You can get a great start on that program with my free guide
